DOS: (TPU2ASM), Delphi 1: (UnClut, Yank)

Yank - A utility for listing and optionally unloading 16-bit modules

This is version 1.01 of Yank.exe. Yank will show a list of loaded 16-bit modules in Windows 3.x, Windows 95/98 or Windows NT, and optionally unload selected modules.

There's not much new here - lots of other utilities can currently do this. This version, however, has two features which give it additional appeal: It's free, and it will remember what modules you elect to unload between sessions. This makes it ideal for unloading the resident modules that prevent Delphi.exe from restarting (COMPLIB.DCL, PASDBK.DLL etc) after a crash.

Version 1.01 adds the capability to show a module's full path, and can be minimized.

UnClut - A utility for uncluttering the Windows tool bar while using Delphi 1.02

This is version 1.00 of UnClut.exe - a tiny utility whose purpose in life is to flip the bit in the 16 bit DELPHI.EXE which controls whether individual IDE windows appear on the Windows95 tool bar.

Run UnClut once, and individual IDE windows will minimize to separate icons on the desktop - you can get a list of open IDE windows with Alt-0 (zero).

Run UnClut again, and the IDE will revert to the default behavior.

Note! This utility only works with Delphi version 1.02 (the latest). I have no plans to "down-grade" it to support previous builds. If you're using a previous build, UnClut will tell you so and do nothing. You should really upgrade in that case, since Borland fixed a number of bugs - notably in the IDE debugger - in the 1.02 release.

TPU2ASM - A utility for disassembling TurboPascal 5.5 DCU files

This utility is only included here as a historical curiosity. It was written in 1990, and it hasn't been in much use for the last decade. Despite any references to shareware fees in the documentation, this utility is now freeware. No support is available for this product.
