Man

is the greatest obstacle in my work! Whenever I feel like roaming around in nature - seeking inspiration in the colors or the shapes that appeal to me, or just feelings that come to me - man pops up in one form or another, makes himself available for better or worse and thus becomes an integral part of my works.

I am - in other words - not a big city kind of person. Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to avoid contact with human civilization in one form or another. I attempt to deal with the necessity of having to be part of all this urbanity by seeking inspiration in the human mind and body. Or I limit myself to the histories of the human face, which I find an infinite source of inspiration.
